Description

Most organisations have plenty of agile teams. What they don't have is agility. The work still gets stuck somewhere between the team that finishes it and the customer who wanted it, and nobody's quite sure who owns that stretch in the middle.

Flow Manager is the course that picks up where team-level agility runs out of road. It's aimed at agile professionals, team leads, and managers who've already seen what good team practice looks like and now want to do something about everything that happens around it — the handovers, the queues, the work that sits waiting for someone, somewhere, to pick it up.

Over the course you'll learn how to spot what's actually flowing through your system, track it as it moves, and measure how well (or how badly) it's getting to the customer. You'll come away with the foundational understanding needed to attribute value to what's being delivered, and to manage that flow end to end rather than just at your bit of it.

In Kanban Maturity Model terms, this is the work that moves an organisation from Level 1 to Level 2. The Flow Manager's job is to keep things moving so that products and services arrive quicker and more reliably — which, it turns out, has a much bigger impact on overall performance than tuning any individual team ever does.

You'll learn to identify customer requests, track work in progress, and measure flow efficiency. You'll also learn to gently nudge teams towards finishing things rather than starting more — harder than it sounds, transformative when it sticks.

If faster, more reliable delivery matters in your role, or if you're looking to take on more responsibility at a bigger scale, Flow Manager gives you the grounding to do it properly.
